Kenna has been grooming for over 20 years working in salons across NY, Texas and Northern California. Her specialty is working with overly anxious rescues and super seniors.
After many years in the business she began to see just how stressful the grooming environment can be: often overbooked, commonly rushed and always loud, the typical grooming salon never allows the proper time the dogs deserve. It is not uncommon for groomers to force instead of gently allowing causing anxiety, distrust and an overall bad experience that is never forgotten.
Kenna will never force or push but simply work with the dogs current comfort level to gain trust. Overtime this trust brings ease to the dog and they learn it is safe which brings more cooperation. It isn’t about perfection, it is about their comfort and having a loving, easeful experience.
Kenna’s Pup Cuts eliminates stress and anxiety by coming to your own home. She will bring her own supplies, portable table and small velocity dryer. Set up is typically in kitchen, dining room or garage, preferably on a hardwood or linoleum, and bathing can happen in kitchen sink or bathroom sink.
